When you give me your e-mail address for my episode announcement mailing list, I will use it to send you one e-mail at the start of each month when I post a new episode. It is also conceivable that if something REALLY exciting happens, I might announce it mid-month, but I'd probably wait to mention it in my single, monthly announcement.
